This is a collection of random song ideas I recorded onto a one track Sony tape deck mostly in the year 2010 and later finished in 2014. They were extracted by Joseph Allred in 2014. No real attempts have been made to spruce up the audio quality. In the spirit of inspiration, I have left the tape in the order it was recorded minus one song I deemed sub par. Most of these songs were either improvised (the instrumentals) or the lyrics were composed loosely in the morning at my then job and then arranged fairly quickly. Generally if I was able to get to the end of the song w/o a major goof up, I considered it a success. Subjects include sickness, self awareness, car trouble, the great Nashville flood, and working the 6 am shift.
Much Of this album was created with a vintage Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress that now belongs to Joseph Allred. In an attempt to make this a more (or less, yr judgement) enjoyable listen (depending on yr aesthetics), tracks with singing and lyrics are titled, but tracks that are instrumental improv are not.
This album is dedicated to Joseph Allred for his time and assistance in naming this album. And to the city of Hermitage Tennesse where in most all of these songs were mentally connected for better or worse.
